They coordinate a comprehensive database of almost all job openings across the nation. Their massive collection of job listings is over 2 million strong and includes active listings from every Fortune 500 and Fortune 1000 business.
They spend hours each day searching through the websites of employers, not to mention nearly every job board in the nation, trying to find active job listings. The EmploymentCrossing staff consists of librarians, engineers, professional researchers, and attorneys. They all do their best to find every active job listing in the country. Then they research each active job listing to ensure it’s validity and categorize it appropriately in the EmploymentCrossing database. The job seeker benefits directly from this work because he or she has one particular place to search for active job listings.
